Why is Dog Training Important?
Dogs are said to be man’s best friend, but this does not always come for free. Many people are aware of the fact that dogs are great animals and they are well loved, but the truth is that dogs need discipline and training just like other animals, including people and children. If allowed to act in their own ways, they will not be able to develop a clear sense of right and wrong, which will not be good for the home owner. Likewise, it will not be good for the dog since they will not necessarily be the kind of pet that a person would want, especially if they are not well behaved. However, dog training is not just important for the owner who wants to keep their home and family safe and happy. It is also vital to the well being of the animal itself, which is something that not many people are aware of when it comes to their pets. Sending them to a doggie boot camp is an excellent idea to get started.
First of all, dogs that are trained will be less likely to perform dangerous acts that could hurt themselves or people that may be involved with interacting with the dog. Some of these things include the dog running away and getting hit by a car as a result of running away, biting someone too hard even if they did not mean it, simply because they are not disciplined and playing too rough with children. Basic dog obedience training helps to teach dogs a number of things that will benefit them and their owners, such as patience and consideration. Just as a person should not snap at children when they are frustrated, neither should dogs. The best time to start training your dog is when they are a puppy, or as young as possible, this way the dog will be able to grow up with an instilled set of instructions and sense of obedience.
BBQ Right! And Enjoy The Good Bluegrass Music!
I’ve been working hard here lately and now it’s time for some BBQ and Bluegrass Music! Some of my favorite bands are Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Dale McCoury Band, Dan Tyminski and any band that has a great mandolin picker.
We have a local BBQ place that knows how to do BBQ Right! Sometimes we go over there on Friday orSaturday night, eat some good BBQ and listen to great bluegrassmusic. The other night the band played some Ralph Stanely, Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scruggs tunes. I asked my wife to please get me a copy of the Flatt and Scruggs old TV shows for my birthday. I think she will!
Speaking of BBQ, do you know how Natural Gas vs Propane vs Charcoal stacks up? I am thinking about getting a Grill and was wondering which one is best. Nothing like some good ribs basted in barbeque sauce fixed on an open grill on Saturday night! Almost forgot the beverage, NOT! A cool, refreshing cold drink of choice puts the final touch on the meal.
Oh, on a totally different subject, I am in the process of re-doing my home office and ran across a site that has a ton of good information on such topics as Outfitting a Home Office, Choosing An Office Copier and lots more. They also have a ton of office equipment and supplies to help with the make over. So this should make my new project go a lot faster which means I can get back to the BBQ and Bluegrass Music!
Golf: Past and Present
As a participator sport, golfing has been gaining in popularity for quite a while now. But the History of Golf actually goes way back, and has evolved into a very technical sport. Golf is thought to have originated in Scotland in about the fifteenth century. Hitting stones with sticks over grass and sand and into rabbit holes is the legend of its Scottish beginning.
Of course there is no unanimity in the acceptance of that story since there were other more or less competitive activities involving sticks and balls going on. But it is likely that Scotland did help popularize this game of counting the number of hits it takes to hit some kind of a ball into a hole. When the Royal Family took up the sport it was given international exposure, and golf gained in popularity in a big way.
By the early 1800’s golf was being enjoyed by both women and men. Golf clubs at this time, were designed in basically the same way as they are now. The rules of golf were very similar to those of the modern game by this time as well. However, with the handmade clubs and balls being on the expensive side, the game of golf was mostly enjoyed only by people having enough money as well as the time.
Mass production of golf clubs made of metal began late in the nineteenth century, bringing equipment prices down and thus putting the sport in reach of more and more of the world’s sporting population. Affordability did wonders for the popularity of the game. Throughout the world golf courses and the fore runners of country clubs were being built. In 1894 the USGA was founded as participation in the sport of golfing soared. Golf was added as an Olympic sport in 1900 and the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) was formed fourteen years later.
Over the years, rapid improvement in the technical aspects of golf equipment design and production resulted in lower prices and golfers getting better results when hitting the ball. Money increasingly flowed in to the sport as golf tournaments flourished all over the world, providing a huge audience for marketers to hawk their goods and services. At the same time as television began taking off in the 1950′s, the emergence of superstar golfers drew the interest of millions of viewers. The popularity of top golfers drew ever more followers to televised golf and at the same time encouraged more people to take up the game.
In today’s market, a golf-phenom like Tiger Woods attests to the draw of the game of golf by putting the sport on the radar of virtually everyone who looks at the television or newsstand. Pro golfers demonstrate ever more tremendous skill. Weekend players and amateurs play and practice and embrace the developments in the sport. Even Computer Golf Games are able to entertain and challenge millions of virtual golfers.
Throughout the world, people of all ages are enjoying golf. Golf instruction is readily available at courses, clubs, schools and shops, for anyone who wants to learn the basics or to improve their skills. For many, the availability of golf has become an important consideration in planning vacations and business trips. In summary, the game of golf has become immensely popular, entertaining and challenging millions of people.

Looking for a great resource for a shopping list for south beach diet foods? Unfortunately, due to the fact that this diet has become so popular so quick there aren’t many resources available online for this sort of thing.
The good news is that we have put together the following tips when preparing to shop for foods for the south beach diet, although you may find that your doctor would categorize it as a high cholesterol diet. The jury is still out on that point.
For those readers who are familiar with the south beach diet it might come as a surprise to see some of the foods on our shopping list for south beach diet. This is mainly due to the fact that most of the foods that are recommended are foods that most people are currently eating anyways.
The first thing that you should do before shopping for the south beach diet is examine the foods that you currently buy. You can start by removing any of the foods that the diet recommends staying away from. Some of these foods include breads, rice, potatoes, pasta, fruits, and sugary foods. The diet also recommends completely cutting out beer and alcohol. If you want a cholesterol diet low in ‘bad’ foods this might not be for you, so if you suffer from high cholesterol it might be worth investigating a little further.
Some people that start this diet have a problem with stopping beer and alcohol completely. It important to note that during the second phase of the diet you can start to reintroduce so of these foods. The key of the diet is that the first phase will cause you to lose a lot of the cravings you had to begin with. In fact, a lot of people after the first phase will not have cravings for beer and alcohol at all. Now its time to start forming a shopping list for south beach diet foods so you can begin phase one of the diet.
The shopping list for south beach diet foods should not stray to far away from your regular shopping list other than the foods you have cut out during phase one. Some of the foods that you should typically find on your shopping list include chicken, beef, turkey, fish, nuts, cheese, eggs, cheese and vegetables. The beauty of a shopping list for south beach diet foods is that you don’t have to get any specific foods. You want to stay away from buying products that already contain these ingredients or preservatives. As long as you stick to these foods and only buy fresh, natural foods you should have no problems.
If you are interested in putting together a shopping list for south beach diet foods, you should stick to the foods that the diet recommends. It is also important to note that during the second phase you can slowly start phasing the foods you cut out during phase 1 back into your diet. The most important thing to remember is that the third phase of the diet will be your diet for the rest of your life, so any lack of self control during phase 2 will hinder your ability to be successful with this diet and effectively lose weight. Remember that a cholesterol diet low in ‘bad’ foods is not necessarily what this is, so remember to do your due diligence.

Five Ways to Invest in Real Estate
Real Estate Investing is one of the most popular of the many ways to amass great wealth in the world today. Certainly, one of the reasons for this popularity is its ease of entry. Rags to riches stories abound about the successes in the lucrative yet risky field of real estate investing. And it does make for an interesting study, as there are many possible combinations of paths to success. For an investor willing to commit some time to studying the market segments, and the various risks and rewards, real estate can truly turn out to be a route to wealth accumulation. What follows are five approaches to real estate investment.
Rental Income Property. Real property values, for the most part, have more stable growth than other common investment vehicles which may have frequent if not large swings in their underlying values. The problem is that far too few people can actually afford to hold and maintain multiple properties over an extended and indefinite period of time while waiting for the value to rise. Many property investors manage to overcome this by renting the properties to tenants during the time when the property values are rising. This allows the tenants to essentially cover the note on the property and makes the venture a little less risky though there are risks involved when dealing with tenants. Things like failure to make rent payments, damage to the property, and potential legal costs make finding good tenants into the make or break issue.
Investing Prior to Construction. This is a highly speculative and very risky sort of property investment that has booms and busts. Many investors recently discovered exactly how risky this endeavor actually was with the bursting of the property value ‘bubble’. The risks involved in this type of investment should not cover up the fact that many millionaires have been created through pre-construction investing and many more will be created in the future. Pre-build investing, just as its name implies is a type of investment in which investors purchase ‘options’ on the property before ground is broken. This is very popular in high demand areas that are known to experience housing shortages as prices often rise quickly and the units are often sold before they are completed and any ‘real’ money exchanges hands.
Flipping Properties. This is a type of property investment that has grown by leaps and bounds in the recent past thanks to the large audiences for the many popular home improvement and house flipping shows on cable networks in the last few years. More and more people have decided to pursue this sort of investment in hopes of creating big profits in a short amount of time and with minimal investment. Of course the problem is that it always looks much easier on television than it is in real life. Couple this with the fact that many people have unrealistic expectations when it comes to costs and ability and there are plenty of other risks involved with this type of investment as well. For those who are successful however, there is the potential for great profit in a relatively short amount of time as these televisions shows indicate.
The Buy-and-Hold Approach. As mentioned above, real estate has been tending to gain value over time. Even if the buildings are in desperate need of TLC and repair the very land they are standing on is more often than not gaining value as the years pass by. Purchasing large lots of land or even several houses and holding on to them for as long as possible before selling can often fund college educations for children, pay for weddings, or greatly supplement retirement funds. The longer these properties are held the better in most cases as this provides the greatest opportunity for the value of the property to increase.
The Lease Option. There are few people in this world who never experience rough spots financially. Many of these people are denied traditional home loans because of their inability to cover debts properly in the past. For this reason they are often willing to pay for the privilege of rebuilding their credit while working towards a path of home ownership. For these people, a lease option presents a workable and often valued solution. Those investors who are willing to take the risks often find the rewards are well worth those risks.
These are some of the most common ways that real estate investors are involved in this market. With the population growing and aging, there is a growing demand for housing. On the supply side, there is a limited amount land on which it is feasible to build and live. There are other investment opportunities that exist for those who are interested in real estate for an investment avenue, including the increasingly popular Real Estate Auctions. There are commercial real estate opportunities that have the potential to bring in big profits as well as the development and planning of housing communities as well. Needless to say real estate investing offers many opportunities to the savvy investor.
Find A Source Of Solar Power
Solar power can be found in several different places on the earth. You can find a source of solar energy in a parked car,in a building with no air circulating, in a home without windows opened or fans circulating the air. When you step into any of these places that have been in the sunlight for a while you soon become overpowered by the amount and the intensity of the heat.
This kind of heat can be taken and converted into heat that can heat your home, your water, an outbuilding,or any other building you would like to have heat in. Heating by solar power is a free way of heating. When you heat using solar power you use a source that will direct the heat from the sunlight during the daytime to your solar source. A solar source is a device that you use to attract and trap the heat from the sun. Just like a car out in the parking lot gets hot when it faces the midday sun and the windows are rolled up. The seats can become very hot, too hot to sit on. These seats are a source of solar power because they trapped the heat inside and didn’t want to let them go.When this happens the seats will still be warm long after the sun quits shining directly on that car.
Creating a solar heat source can be easy to do with a ittle thought put into it. With a solar source you need to think about all the things that attract the sun, such as metal, the color black, glass that is tinted or clear, mirrors and more. There is an endless supply of idea to signal the heat your way and trap it for your use. To get the heat to benefit your water system or even your heat, you need to come up with a way that you can circulate a liquid that when it passes by your solar renewable energy source it will heat the water naturally because of the concentrated amount of heat that was trapped inside your solar source that day.
When the liquid carries through the solar source and travels into the home it can go directly to the water where it can be kept warm, like a hot water tank, but naturally without using gas and electricity to keep it warm. This solar source can be a great challenge to create but you will enjoy the rewards for years to come. You can also find solar sources in stores as well as online. Shopping for solar power items has never been easier and it is not expensive.
Coming up with a solution that will carry the heat into the home is simple and practical. If your idea is successful you will have heat during the winter and warm water all year around. The main goal is not only to preserve the natural resources and the environment but it is cost effective when you can use something that is natural that you need to use.
Profiting With Public Domain Information, Part 1
If you are planning to sell another person’s items, you have to acquire the appropriate rights for the aforemtioned items. Such is the correct tactic to deal with the particular issue in the world of web Stay At Home Moms Business. Because web marketing deals with digital goods, intellectual property rights should be protected, more particularly in this field than in any other. A web businessman who refuses to acknowledge other people’s intellectual property rights can easily and quickly become the scourge of the field.
There is one gargantuan issue with purchasing resale rights for your Small Business Ideas, though: it’s expensive.
More or less, goods with their resale rights are being peddled by as much as twenty times more than the standard retail price. The reason for this is simple: items with their resale rights do not only offer personal usage of the same, they also share an earning opportunity the value of which can never be quantified.
But, for online marketers who do not wish to go though the demands of coming up their own commodity and who do not wish to spend a lot of cash buying resale rights for existing products or for their Small Business Ideas, there exists another alternative.
Here comes public domain information, a body of works that can be utilized – and exploited – inaccordance with your will however you may please. Works grouped under the public domain are not owned by or under the exclusive control of anyone. African-American collectables
The history of the USA contains immigration of many ethnicities. It already started tens of thousands of years ago, when prehistoric Asian immigrants crossed the dry land that would later become the Bering Sea, and eventually spread out over the whole continent of North and South America. Their descendents would later become known as Native Americans. Then the White people came, spreading over the whole continent in no time at all.
Very soon thereafter a disturbing part of New World history started: the ages of slavery. Presently it’s difficult to understand the way of thinking of this era, but we are often confronted with it, in different ways. The presence of the African culture in the US is very prominent nowadays: the nation has come a long way, even to the extend that at the moment I write this, an African-American is running for the presidency! Yes, Black history in America has changed (tremendously|for the good}, which definitely restores ones faith in mankind.
Nevertheless there are still many relics of the times of Black enslavement and discrimination. In our time several of those have become collectable parts of Black American history. Under the general lable Black Americana those objects are often collected. Often by Black Americans who need to preserve part of their cultural history in the form of African-American memorabilia, but also by others who see them als signs of a time that was strongly different from our own, and that must never be forgotten.
Among these Black Americana or memorabilia are every day objects like kitchenalia, but also originals or replicas of objects from the slave period itself. Many books about this period can be found, and indeed should be studied. African-American memorabilia is a field of interest that reminds us all of how life should never be, and by keeping this reminder alive we contribute to more profound consciousness of African-American history.
Looking for Home Equity Lines of Credit
In today’s economy you might wonder about how your assets have fared or done in in the turberlance. This will include your money, your investments, pension plan, individual retirement accounts and the largest investment for nearly all folks, your family home or house.
What money amazed} in the bank in your nest egg or checking account should be just fine unless you have more than $250,000 in one bank and that bank happens to be among the banks that fail.
If you’re invested in the stock market this may not constitute a really good time for anyone unless, like they say, you are invested for the long-run. Even the long term investors are getting a trifle edgy right now.
The retirement program that are heavily invested with the stock market are taking a beating right now, but could recoup the losses over a period of time. What you may do with these accounts is more often than not regulated by your age and how long it is until you are planning to retire.
Now to that largest investment for virtually all people. The house or family home. I am certain your home or house is exactly same as mine, it’s diminished in value during the last few months. Indeed probably your home equity is not as much as before. You may ask how could this affect me? If you’re not planning to sell or not planning to look for a home equity line of credit you will not be affected even a little. For those searching for home equity lines of credit will find that their home equity is lower and the loan rates of interest are climbing.

3 Essential Things All Owners Must Know BEFORE Crate Training Puppies !!
Author: Dillion Fox
When it comes to owning a puppy, there’s a whole lot to think about as a new owner – vaccinations, diet, puppy obedience training, coming up with that ‘special’ name. And then, of course, there’s the housebreaking! In my opinion, there’s no better way to instil good housebreaking rules, keep your puppy (and your possessions!) safe and sound while you’re out, and give your puppy his own refuge than through crate training.
Crate training puppies is a great idea for a whole ‘raft’ of reasons, and is infinitely more preferable than keeping your puppy in the yard while you’re out. If you want to get your partnership with your new puppy off to a great start AND keep your sanity for the rest of your dog-owning life, then you need to read these……..
3 Essential Tips for Crate Training Puppies!
1. Crate Training Puppies is NOT Cruel
Often, when people mention crate training puppies, peoples’ first response is to decry the cruelty of keeping an animal ‘penned up’ in a cage. In all reality, though, crate training truly provides an instinctive “den” for your puppy. In the wild, a coyote or wolf pup spends virtually the first Ten weeks of its life in a safe lair its mother has prepared. When done properly, crate training puppies mimics this comforting lair as a safe place to sleep and escape from the outside world.
When you’re out of the house or you decide to go on vacation with your dog, the crate is a wonderful way to guarantee that both your home/car and your puppy stays safe and ‘in one piece’! What crate training is NOT, is keeping your dog in a cage for 8 hours a day with total neglect to it’s most basic needs. Cruelty is leaving a puppy in the backyard to possibly be stolen, eat something poisonous or be ‘open’ to nasty weather. Crate training is, in short, the very opposite!
2. Crate Training Puppies.. Goes Hand-in-Hand With Housebreaking!!
Forget those dirty puppy training pads, newspapers, and other housetraining products that may often hinder your puppy’s housetraining! Breeders, animal shelters, and other experts have been crate training puppies with great success for decades and view it as an excellent way to install the desired housetraining concepts.
So what makes it so effective? A puppy will naturally try to put off soiling his resting place. If left to roam the house, your puppy will eventually go into another room to relieve himself. If crated, your puppy will try and wait until he has an opportunity to leave his “den” and relieve himself elsewhere.
This doesn’t mean you should leave your puppy in his crate for hours and expect him to “hold it.” Puppies, like children, have tiny bladders and digestive systems. In order for crate training to be successful in the early weeks of your puppy’s life, he should be taken out every hour-directly from the crate to the yard. Another great benefit to crate training puppies, as it relates to housebreaking, is that if he DOES have an accident, a crate is much easier to wipe than, say, a Persian rug or that silk dress you mistakenly left on the floor!
3. Crate Training Puppies – It’s for Life!
Most people who are involved with crate training puppies find the technique to be such a useful tool that they use crating, in some form, for the rest of the dog’s life. When a dog grows up considering the crate to be his refuge, he’ll consider the crate to be his own little ‘safe haven’ for as long as it’s available to him.
Many full-grown dogs sleep in their crates (doors ajar) at night, and many owners still crate their dogs when they go out for the evening or take a brief day trip. Many dogs also travel very well (and safely!) by plane and car when they are securely in their crates. Most dogs would much rather be in their crate, in a climate-controlled home with some special toys and a soft blanket than they would be out in the yard where they might get rained on, snowed on, or otherwise left to fend for themselves.
Of course, you should never leave any dog crated for more than 3 or 4 hours without a break to relieve himself. If you must crate your dog or puppy for any lengthy period, give a neighbour, relative, or friend the key to your home so they can take your dog out for a quick walk.
As you can see, crate training puppies is about so much more than just putting your dog in a cage and calling it “crate training.” Dog crate training is your pet’s security, your home’s preservation, and an effective way to bring up a well housebroken dog without a ton of effort. When done properly, crate training puppies doesn’t just make for proud owners-it makes for proud owners of happy, well-balanced dogs.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these free tips and techniques designed to Guarantee your Success and show you How To Train Your Dog the easy way.
